1 cup brown sugar
½ cup butter
2 ½ cups cornfl akes - crushed
½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
½ cup fl aked coconut
1 quart vanilla ice cream - softened
Heat sugar and butter in saucepan until melted. Add all other ingredients except the ice cream. Stir well. Press half of the mixture into a 9X13 pan. Spread with ice cream. Top with the rest of the crumb mixture then freeze it. Serve with ice cream toppings or fresh fruit. For a more crunchy texture, use toasted coconut.
